July/August Newsletter

Monthly Update: Welcome back, everyone! This is Zoé with the review of August’s activities and upcoming news for September! We participated in a Campfire/Hot Dog Roast for The Navigators and our monthly service at the Pines. Just a reminder that the biggest way to help is by AWARENESS. Please share our website, social media pages, and our upcoming events.

Monthly Devotional: Just a reminder that as Christians, we must be Christ-like. Once we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, our attitude towards others must change, even to those whom society says don’t deserve it. In Luke 6:27-28, it states, “But I say to you who are listening: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.” This is not always to do but being a Christian does not mean that we are perfect, but it does not mean that we must consciously decide to be Christ-like. In the end, Jesus died for them just like he did for me and you.

Funds Update (for July): OSW received a $150 donation. OSW spent $75.88 on advertising for our Hillbilly Chaplain’s Rally for the Cause.
