Who is OSW?

Outside the Walls (OSW) is a nonprofit organization with 501c3 status based out of Blount County, Alabama. We are a group of misfits who are anything from bikers to blue-collar workers to teachers to retirees to chaplains to veterans. We are a group that normally would not be put together but we are family. We are also sinners saved by Grace just trying to share the gospel while meeting a need. We have no stationary place but we are a group that will come together whenever and wherever to serve the least of these. We are a living, breathing organization that will change to fit the needs of our community.

What do we do?

OSW operates by our motto "See a need. Meet a need." OSW was originally started to provide a worship service for those who did not want to participate in church politics or traditions. It provided a place for people to worship as they saw fit, even if it was under an Oak tree. However, we have been blessed to worship and serve a meal, once a month, at Royal Pines Recovery Center. In addition, we sponsor The Navigators, support teachers, and more. We serve where there is a need. Lastly, we host The Shop Podcast - OSW where we share stories and bring laughter to those who need it. We hope to provide tutoring, bible studies, and more in the future.
