The Navigators teaches youth the necessary life skills to navigate life, such as changing a tire, increasing communication skills (interviewing for jobs), tying a tie, etc. In addition to these skills, we want to teach future generations to become leaders with a servant’s heart. We want our youth to become confident in themselves, gain independence, become successful, and share kindness and joy with others. The Navigators will also promote a sense of brother and sisterhood, a place to belong. Not every kid may be interested in playing sports, participating in band, or enjoying increasing their academic resumes. The Navigators will allow all types of kids with different types of interests to be a part of a community that embraces camaraderie and inclusiveness. All that to say, we stand by our values and ask that our Navigators represent those values in all areas of their lives, including school, church, etc, especially when they wear their vest!
